Drake Davis Foundation Scholarship Application

New this year we are accepting online applications for 2025. The Drake Davis Speak Up-Reach Out Scholarship is awarded in memory of Drake Davis. Drake died by suicide in 2006 and the Foundation was formed to create an opportunity to raise awareness and prevention of suicide. A limited number of scholarships will be awarded to graduating

qualification are as follows:

Student must be a graduating high school senior
Student must plan to attend an institute of higher learning and currently be accepted.

The winning students will be selected by the Foundation's Board of Directors.

The following must be submitted

Completed Application including Essay on why this scholarship is important
Official Copy of High School Transcript
Letter of Recommendation
Copy of College Acceptance Letter

The Scholarship Committee has selected 12 recipients for the 2022 Drake Davis Foundation Speak Up - Reach Out Scholarship. Each recipient will receive a $1,000 scholarship. OUr story

Formed in memory of Drake Davis who died by suicide on January 4, 2006, the Foundation awards scholarships to high school seniors who exemplify outstanding leadership, character, and community service. These scholarships not only provide needed financial assistance but also an occasion to raise awareness and talk about suicide prevention especially amongst young people.
Since 2006, we have awarded over $185,000 in scholarship funds to students throughout the United States.
